Oww Mami I Like Your Style.....

Fashion and style are two different entities entirely if you ask me. I mean you can rock the Gucci, the PRIMarc Jacobs, or Ed Hardy ( if you wear Ed Hardy, and you were not forced under the threat of having your bed filled with Poison Dart Frogs we can't be friends) you may be wearing what's 'BANG ON TREND' (Damn you Gok Wan) but if you have no style your pretty much paying the label to advertise for THEM! Style on the other hand is not only relative but it doesn't require a stupid amount of money to achieve. When done correctly you can brand yourself. I don't really have style icons but there are some ladies out there who I would drag into a dark alley and leave them with only their panties and a hair clip if i had the chance.
Tracee Ellis Ross is Definitely a potential Victim Icon
She is the perfect mix of eclectic style and Dopery ( is that a word?)
She may not be not a typical beauty.... but she works with what she has
And she has BIG HAIR
And a BIG BUTT (I'm kinda lacking in that area so I tend to notice)
And she played Joan ( my sister from another Mister)
However.......She doesn't always get it right (PETA is gonna get her)
But when she does...... Oh she does it well

I SALUTE YOU

I have joined the blackberry cult =s

For the longest I had been avoiding getting a blackberry. Even though the majority of my friends have one, I tried to remain strong but inevitable happened, I cracked and gave into peer pressure and got a crackberry lol. Its only Coco who needs to get one now (I hope you have forgiven me lol.)

Summer? Part 2

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who has been thinking about their fall wardrobe already! I love summer, since I'm a summer baby, but there's something about Autumn/ Winter that gets me excited too lol. I love scarves and hats and gloves! And dark plum colours! I even planning my fall makeup lol. So here's what I'm thinking.....
I'm loving black eyeshadow, after I saw Kirsty Gallacher wearing it on GMTV! And dark lips! I think the darker the better! I'm not sure if I can rock both though lol. I think Barry M, dazzle dust no. 66 is the best, if you want a really intense look but unfortunately my local superdrug had run out so the next best was Collection 2000 Colour Intense Trio No 1. Silver Storm- which also has silver and white aswell as black and is great for doing a smoky eye with.I'm also loving fake eyelashes since I wore fake eyelashes on my birthday. I think they just give you a oh-so-feminine look! I been shopping around for a glamorous but cheap pair and NYC cosmetics do 3 different kinds for £1.99!!!! Bargain or what! I also decided to get Max factor false lash effect effect for those days when I just can't be bothered!

Excuse the close up lol but what do you think? I'm wearing the mascara on my left eye only so you can see the difference. I think its GREAT! It does exactly what it says on the bottle lol.

"Responsibilities"

As usually it has been a while since I have blogged on here... (I can hear boo! coco saying daym straight lol) In the last couple of weeks I have gone from being a child to officially an adult and with that comes "responsibilities" as my lovely family put it on my birthday! This basically means that now "I'm off age" I meant to find a boyfriend, get married and have babies all in the next couple of years! It makes me laugh because all my life my mother has told me boys are basically evil and I shouldn't even look at them and now she was expecting to bring one home the minute I turn 21! Parents just don't seem to understand that is doesn't work like that or else trust me I would have had a "special" someone sitting next to me. But its ok! My plan is for the next couple of years, before I reach 30, is to have as much fun as possible and if a guy comes along that will just be great =). Diva xoxo

Mirror rorriM on the wall

Why do we only see ourselves when we look in the mirror?

I asked myself this question the other day when I was sat in front of my mirror thinking did no one notice how terrible my face and hair was today! and yes i was also thinking I need to put the mirror on the wall! Nehoo the answer I came up with is that it is easy to see and criticise what’s right in front of us. Look and that 'tina the talking' tummy, those friends on my face aka spots, that bump in my nose... whatever it is just distracts us from our true reflection, how the world sees us.

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I say that beauty is an illusion, where the beholder can only see the reflection we create. The next time you go to work, hold a door open for somebody, help a friend, get complimented on your outfit.. take the time to really look at yourself. Listen to the thank you, ask for feedback, and acknowledge that someone has acknowledged you. Know your worth and see that reflection!

LOVE the mirror here so thought i would throw this up.. plus the outfit and the song is hott

Burlesques and Birthdays!!!!!

Firstly, I'm glad to hear our lil Angolan is okay and hasn't been taken hostage by the natives. We miss u homie xoxo Now onto the next thang.
It was the gawgus Diva's Birthday on the 10th, she is officially legal......21!!!!! whooo i can't wait until i'm 21 #side-eye. Anyway to celebrate we went to a Burlesque club in Chancery Lane called Volupte and you know we had to do it BIG, full 40's and 50's attire. and although we were asked not to take pictures of the performers, the real show started afterwards.
the decor was so chic/fly/ dope
I wanted those shoes.....badly!
ruby who.....ruby wooo booo (finally got superwoman to wear lipstick)
The Piano Man randomly came and started harrassing us and doing magic/ parapyschological tricks.
I must say I was impressed and he played along to Upside down by Diana Ross (i think)
Here he is at work stealing Superwoman's phone number from her mind.......
