WE'RE BACKKKKKKK!!!!

Already back from sunny Lisboa, and I am already having withdrawal symptoms.... :(

There was a lot of sun, sea, sand, sight seeing, partying.... too too much. Twas a great holiday with minha meninas! :D

Random rant.... I'm not amused at this precise moment.... Excited about the wireless festival on the 4th July only to find out Drake will no longer be performing!!! kmt

Half way....

Its JUNE!!!! not normally my favourite month (September is the best month) but half way through 2010 and there is so much we have achieved already. Uni successfully completed! studying is over and we will be graduating in July... finally!!! I feel like I've been studying for a lifetime! Feeling and looking amazing! we are finally pampering ourselves and I plan to continue- exercise, weekly face masks, weekly hair conditioning. New job!! ahhhh I start in less than 2 weeks!!! Re-vamped surroundings.. sexxy bed covers ;) Xuna;) O and if you like sexy Drake , you will have babies over his new album- Thank me Later my favourite tune has gotta be 'Fancy'... check out the lyrics ladies New state of mind - after getting emotional, we are now all feeling pretty positive about relationships, careers and the future. What you put into life you will get in return! This is the year the past is behind us and we're going to tickle life until a little wee comes out :D Hope everyone is having a good year so far... stay positive - we can make it happen!!!

Make Up...

Last night I had a convo with Boo! regarding my lack of interest in make up.

Seriously... I show very little interest in the 'Art'.

Not that I don't like it, I just don't know how to experiment with it all, and also I'm afraid to step out of the box and play with colours on my face (red on my lips is the most I would do)

My daily (and even night life) make up 'regime' consists of face cream, toner, minimal foundation, concealer, eyeliner and mascara.... lip gloss/balm if I even remember lol)

i.e. that dramatic fiery glammed up look on a night out:

Eye make up... don't get me started...

It's a skill... A skill I wish I had a little of... But I'm gonna try.

Boo! suggested I step out of the box into a challenge and be a little more experimental with my make up daily...

Is it working?!

Well... I have come to a conclusion that this 2 week thing I am trying to tone up is semi working... though I don't think its entirely due to the special K challenge and the gym sessions... Since trying to get into shape (not just physically, but for health reasons too)

I have changed a few things, I'm more active now, by walking more often rather than taking the bus or tube, I have even changed my posture in the way I stand and sit, to give the illusion of a flatter and toned stomach and reducing back and neck pain lol. Check out Good Posture.

Anyways, My room is in a huge mess and I have to sort it out before I leave and go and exchange my dinheros into Euros!! :D

2 week Regime...

The weekend breezed through so fast, I barely remember what went down. Spent Thursday and Friday cramming in the extra hours for volunteering... and trying to sort out the little things I need to do before Lisbon... including my get-fit-quick regime.

I am not one for the gym... I have never liked the idea of me going to one, purely because I have a short attention span and get bored of repetitive movement on a machine after a while.

However, sadly due to desperate times and desperate measures, I was reduced to joining one.... as well as going on the Special K challenge (2 bowls of cereal a day plus any meal of your choice) to lose my spare tire belly avec my daily dose of green tea and lemon!! And boy is it hard! All this is making me even more hungrier than ever! I can't smell good food and not be able to eat it.... saying no is such a hard thing lol.

One of the down falls of wanting to work in Law Enforcement is always being prepared to be called in! Meh... I was planning a weekend away from the city to stay with my cousins, until the station called! AAARRRRGGGHHHH! Now I have to work everything around it as it need to be done if I want to complete my experience!

Anyhooooo..... Ghana's finest diva has been M.I.A for a long while due to exams, but now she's back... and I'm off to meet her for a girly session of lunch/drinks... and watching and helping her shop... (I think I have done enough for now...)

Speaking of shopping, My mummy made me order her a pair of clogs (Burghhhhh - I'm not a fan of their come back) and I got side tracked in the process and thought I'd order me these beauties which arrived this morning...

Don't you just love Pay Day!

Sorry it took so long for me to come back but i have been recovering from a 4 day weekend of shopping, eating, watching SATC2, drinking and more shopping!! HERE'S THE SHOPPING... well half of it! :D

Animals are always in fashion in all sorts of forms from prints to t-shirt motives. This is Elly, my elephant- isn't she cute! I also like birds/butterflies... i love parrots! Maybe because they represent freedom and being free spirited. Think it could be turning into an obsession.. Is that bad?!lol

SOO my thoughts on Sex and the City II !!!!

One word...FABULOUS! Always been a fan of the series and movie number one was great but Sex and the city 2 topped it all!! Its about 2hours 20minutes but you don't notice because you are laughing constantly! They spent about 7 million on the wardrobe for this movie and you can see why.. shoes , dresses, jewellery ...gorgeous! And the lucky bitches got to keep everything they wore!

O AND LETS NOT FORGET ALL THE EYE CANDY ;) Everyone wants to be Carrie BUT I have settled for the fact that I am most like MIRANDA! A slight workaholic, trying to be organised but knows how to be chilled out and go wild! Lol. My style is probably most similar to her too with some Samantha sexiness thrown in. ......................................................................... ( XUNA & me ) ;)

Yes... I know, I previously stated that I do not wish to read another book again after Uni, but, these were calling me, and I thought... ''why not?" I am a Twilight fan after all! Go Team Jacob!!! (Yes I'm a neek)

So these will take me through summer, plus my monthly supplies of magazines :D

You know when you head to the shops to buy one specific item and then head out straight after...
