Bright Pants

Everybody needs a bit of sunshine in their lives, especially this summer! I'm uber loving the bright pants look. It's a great way to make a bold statement to your outfit, and looks super juicy when going for the colour blocking look. I've just recently joined the bright pants crew. I resently purchased a green pair of chinos from Bershka. Bright green is a colour I have never tried before, so this is definitely me making a bold statement. Also a pair of ankle length orange jeans from Zara had to be purchased just because. I love the look on both men and women - Class! On Men...
Celebrities rocking the bright pants look...
On the catwalk...
On the High Street...
On Me... :D
Hope every one is having an amazing week ;)

Monochrome and Leopard print....‏

My oh my has it been a long while since I have graced this blogspot. Apologies I have been M.I.A for a lil while. But no worries homies, I'm back! I just wanted to do a quick post on Miss Olivia Palermo recent look for the red carpet premier of Midnight in Paris. I am so loving her androgynous tux look. Especially the she teamed it up with. She rocked a pair of Charlotte Olympia’s leopard-print ‘Bebel’ shoes, which gave the look that extra quirk I love. Monochrome and leopard print ensemble = ILove!!!

Charlotte Olympia

She's done it once again! My reasoning to why I love Miss Palermo! Until next time ladies...

One Love

The talented, inspirational, reggae artist, BOB MARLEY died 30 years ago today... Take a moment to enjoy the music and the message of peace he bought to the world.

Staycation shenanigans!

Almost a week of public holidays and an empty bank account= staycation! As much as I would have loved to be on a beach or exploring the streets of NYC, a few days off at home is a luxury we often take for granted.. it was nice to spend time helping mum in the kitchen, catch up with friends I haven't seen for yonks and enjoy the British sunshine while its here!
Only not so great thing about staycations... HAYFEVER! grrr

Day 13: I give up... GIVING UP! *defeating my lippy phobia*

So this post is a little delayed but yes.. I had a lipstick phobia! I have always run away from colour on my lips , giving excuses that my lips are too big, its glam for day to day, etc but after being nagged by the girls I knew it was time to overcome my fears and get some lipstick! I must say I had a lot of fun lipstick shopping and was surprised that a lot of shades suited my skin tone, these are my first three purchases which I can't wait to wear out with the rest of my makeup done and outfits to match!

'Nude Delight' by Rimmel:

'Stare At Me' By Rimmel:

'Ruby Woo' By MAC:

I would recommend all the shades above, Rimmel lipstick was amazingly moisturizing and the matt finish of MAC's ruby woo is show stopping. I just need to perfect my pout with an application lesson from boo!coco and I will be good to go !
Next on the list a deep natural tone like Latifa's or a deep deep red and then a bright colour popping pink!
I hearby give up giving up defeating my lipstick phobia!

Thanks for the day off your majesty!

Friday 29th April was the date Katherine Middleton and Prince William tied the knot! I was not particularly excited but was looking forward to the bank holiday (that we paid for anyway)! I'm Black British, born and raised in the UK... not sure whether its my Caribbean origins that prevent me from being patriotic but I have never seen much purpose in the royal family. That's a debate for another day but as it was a moment in history I decided to watch the wedding ceromony from the comfort of my sofa. . . unlike the thousands that took their place outside the palace in the early hours of the morning!

The moment we were all waiting for!.....

So then I met up with the girls in search for an anti-roylist party!lol but as you can see ended up being quite the opposite!

O and ladies... there's only one prince left!!! who will be the next lucky biiiatch!?

In the end I decided to embrace the Royal wedding.. they are just a couple that love eachother and I really do wish them all the best.

Ps. I want that ring Kate!!!
