ROBERT SHEENAN

As bastardly childish his character may seem in Misfits, you can't help but fall for the Irish born actor. YUM!!!!!
One of the main reasons I tune into Misfits every Thursday.
Besides tuning into Nathan every week, I love the whole Misfits cast, the filming, the humour.... Todos!!!
Yayyyyy!!!!! Misfits Season 2 has arrived!!! :D

Happy Sunday!!!!

Ola meninas!!! Tudo bem?!
My weekend was a little Jam packed, with Angolan Independence (Happy (belated) Independence to all you Angolans out there), helping with the cooking, having my family around and going to a friends Surprise 25th which turned out a little funnier than expected.
So my Sunday today is all about kicking back and chilling to the finest Luso-Musicas.
The lounge has the 'creme de la creme' of Lusophone music from Brazil, Angola, Guine-Bissau, Cape Verde, Sao Tome & Principe and Mozambique.
I will leave you with one of my favourite Lusophone artists....
Sara Tavares!
Have a lovely Sunday Todos

Como foi seu fim de semana?

So Friday was D's delayed night out... and from what I remember and from the photo's, the nibbles were tasty. The music however.... I swear to God, the DJ was playing every track I HATE TO DEATH.
The fact that my feet wasn't hurting me at the end of the night just goes to show how bad he was!
Regardless of that, us girls were all together and that all that really matters, as we are the ones who make the party...
During the weekend, I started reading a new book bought for me by D called ''Kiss My Tiara'' by Susan Jan Gilman. The book is amazingly funny and is a great sum up of me and my girls and the way we go about our lives. It's sub-title:
How to rule the world as a smart mouth goddess!
The book is a funny guide which offers women an intelligent alternative to the negative messages we hear in life on everything including sex, money and politics.
And to top it up... she has the best quotes ever
''Right now, there are two things in my life that need to be done: me and my laundry. I want to marry a man who can do both!''
A book every woman must read
As well as that, Friday afternoon, me and my mum did some quick shopping in the Village at Westfields for gifts to send to my aunt and cousins.
With the amount of money we spent (£850) at Lancome and Church, we were showered with free-ness (or better known as gifts with purchases) such as Lancome 'definicils' Mascara and L'absolu Rouge lipstick which I love love love!!
Included in the gift bag was also some Lancome cleanser, make up remover, toner and sample perfumes.
And best of all... a Lancome make-up bag!
God I love freebies!!!

Wireless Festival 2010 Baby!

So.... The day I have been waitin for came! whoop whoop. Me and the girls (plus our fairies) headed off to Hyde Park for a the summer music fest - WIRELESS FESTIVAL.... and must I say, 2010's line up was amazing!
Head liner was Jay Z and he was just amazing! He really worked up the crowd! There was also UK artists performing, Tinnie Tempah, he was amazing with his live band! We were all hyped on pass out, Stacey's fave professor Green was there too, Lily Allen, Ghana's finest was in Awe when she saw D12, but what I came for originally (although Drake had flopped) was my baby J COLE!!!!! aaaaaarrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhh

Originally... I had just heard a few of his tracks and was only properly introduced to him by a friend, and fell in love with 'Dreams' and 'Loosing your Balance'
But it was only until seeing him perform live yesterday, that I had fallen in love with him. Lyrically talented and just a sweet heart, J Cole (suprised himself) was welcomed by a large crowd of serious fans here in the UK, after (quoted by himself) thinking he only had 5 fans here!
Overall.... the festival was amazing excluding the bottle throwing and dirt.... oh and we can't forget staceys broken sandles...hahahaha but defo looking forward to it next year!

16 June 2010

Half way....

Its JUNE!!!! not normally my favourite month (September is the best month) but half way through 2010 and there is so much we have achieved already. Re-vamped surroundings.. sexxy bed covers ;) Xuna;) O and if you like sexy Drake , you will have babies over his new album- Thank me Later my favourite tune has gotta be 'Fancy'... check out the lyrics ladies New state of mind - after getting emotional, we are now all feeling pretty positive about relationships, careers and the future. What you put into life you will get in return! This is the year the past is behind us and we're going to tickle life until a little wee comes out :D Hope everyone is having a good year so far... stay positive - we can make it happen!!!

Don't you just love Pay Day!

Sorry it took so long for me to come back but i have been recovering from a 4 day weekend of shopping, eating, watching SATC2, drinking and more shopping!! HERE'S THE SHOPPING... well half of it! :D
Animals are always in fashion in all sorts of forms from prints to t-shirt motives. This is Elly, my elephant- isn't she cute! I also like birds/butterflies... i love parrots! Maybe because they represent freedom and being free spirited. Think it could be turning into an obsession.. Is that bad?!lol
SOO my thoughts on Sex and the City II !!!!
One word...FABULOUS! Always been a fan of the series and movie number one was great but Sex and the city 2 topped it all!! Its about 2hours 20minutes but you don't notice because you are laughing constantly! They spent about 7 million on the wardrobe for this movie and you can see why.. shoes , dresses, jewellery ...gorgeous! And the lucky bitches got to keep everything they wore!
O AND LETS NOT FORGET ALL THE EYE CANDY ;) Everyone wants to be Carrie BUT I have settled for the fact that I am most like MIRANDA! A slight workaholic, trying to be organised but knows how to be chilled out and go wild! Lol. My style is probably most similar to her too with some Samantha sexiness thrown in. ......................................................................... ( XUNA & me ) ;)

.............................................................................(DIVA)
....................................................................... (BOO!COCO) Nearly everyone can identify with the girls ..right down to the ups and downs with their love lives.. that's why I love it soo much! The movie was just like watching me and my girls going on holiday.. clothes , cocktails and dramas..lol. Well i say Roll on SATC 3! :D
