Vogue's Fashion Night Out

So Last night me and the girls headed to Oxford street for Vogue's FNO whereby Vogue hosted a huge shopping extravaganza which seemed in some sence like a street party containing buzzing crowds in their festival spirits. Only difference, people where sporting their heels.

It was a chance for those in the fashion industry (Giorgio Armani,Claudia Schiffer and Gwyneth Paltrow) to mingle with public shoppers - though we didnt bump into any.

We did however, get to see Janelle Monae perform a set live at the Gap Store. :) Amazing!

In Demand...

One of the down falls of wanting to work in Law Enforcement is always being prepared to be called in! Meh... I was planning a weekend away from the city to stay with my cousins, until the station called! AAARRRRGGGHHHH! Now I have to work everything around it as it need to be done if I want to complete my experience!

Anyhooooo..... Ghana's finest diva has been M.I.A for a long while due to exams, but now she's back... and I'm off to meet her for a girly session of lunch/drinks... and watching and helping her shop... (I think I have done enough for now...)

Speaking of shopping, My mummy made me order her a pair of clogs (Burghhhhh - I'm not a fan of their come back) and I got side tracked in the process and thought I'd order me these beauties which arrived this morning...

Trip down memory lane...

One of my task in achieving goals (be it life, work, school whatever) was to regain and maintain contact with a friend I haven't seen or communicated in a long while. And when I say regain contact... I don't just mean via phone, texts, BB Messenger, facebook etc. You know face to face physical contact, like how they used to do it in the olden days lol.

An old school friend and I have been catching up a lot this past few weeks and I know exactly why I love having this girl in my life!

Hoje... we went for Ice creams and a lie in the sun...

Granny-Chic!

I am only just recovering from my hectic day yesterday.

I was running around like a headless chicken all day running errands and trying to sort out last minute stuff for my bros confirmation. The night was cool, we just had a small gathering with some of my aunts and cousins over.

My morning started off by going out to buy some stuff... I didn't realise how heavy it was gonna be.. so I was forced to buy a granny-waggon!.... ohhhhh noo... but I kinda bonded with mine... I have even named her... *Rosey!

I think I'd make a very chic Granny one day! lol

The weather is lookin' real nice this weekend however, apart from dinner, hosted by my friend and her boyfriend... I have nada planned! Boooo!

Hunting for 'that' job and the whole application process is really not easy... but hopefully I will get lucky. Trying to stay positive!

So right now I am taking advantage of the free time I have and using it constructively and focusing on my other ish such as me and ma mami's online store... speaking of which, I need to book 2 tickets to Paris next week.

I'm no fan of the gym... but I figured, if I want a stomach like this:

I have to do some sort of work out plan for the next 4 weeks... so I have found one....

and I can do it in my kitchen! woooooo hoooo!
